So. These are the posts that no-one ever likes, responds to, or rarely shares. I hope you read on anyway... HHER runs and relies on donations to keep the ball rolling. Were a group effort - as I often say, Together we can accomplish a lot. We have a wonderful core of donors who come through for us on a regular basis, but the Vast Majority of folks who share our online day with us--commenting on our posts, liking our many photos, etc, are not donors. Please, if you believe in what we do, if you enjoy our posts and root for our rescue-horses, please consider a donation to help us continue our work. HHERs Reality Check is that donations are down. A Lot. Were not intaking new horses because I cannot commit to animals that I will have to worry about supporting. For the first 5 years, HHER averaged 20 horses a year. THIS year, our 6th, weve only been able to intake 3 -Misty, Savannah & Casey; not including our 2 returns Tristan & Gracie. Im also making space for 2 more returns in the next few weeks -- Walter (tentative new home already found); and Walle. And please, lets not forget we have SEVERAL permanent residents that need monthly support -- Bentley, Chance, Fred, Gemini, Gaiter, Misty and Bailey.
