So... This is how the partnership works: Units (from Falfurrias to George west) schedule a blood drive with the blood bank,(event must happen before January 1st) call Crystal 361-737-0412 for a date and time that works. She will email a donor sign up list for your Service event. Try to recruit donors and fill up the sheet. Have your unit come out and support the event. Make a sign up sheet of the boys that help. This earns them the participation patch. Dont forget to enter your event service hours in to JTE on myscouting.org. Guys can earn donor credits toward pins that go on the patch. One pin for every five donations. Anyone can give blood for your Scout! The Blood Center will track the donations. A tracking sheet will be at ANY donation site. Please invite all your friends to give in your sons name. They will need his unit number, be sure to give them that number. I have a list of area churches that are already scheduled for a drive, and will be contacting near by units to use this as their blood drive.
