So, a funny and wonderful story. The morning after we photographed Brendas maternity photos and made the final decision on my being there for the birth, she called me...fully in labor! I arrived at her house to find this. She was soaking in her birth tub, in front of the Christmas tree, listening to Christmas music, completely surrounded by love, OWNING HER VBAC! Her almost-5-year-old son was speaking words of encouragement into her ear while playing the role of mini-doula. One short, intense car ride later, and baby was born swiftly at the hospital. This is absolutely one of the greatest births Ive ever been a part of. I still feel the energy and I cannot wait to put together this movie. Please join me in congratulating my friends on the birth of their baby and their empowering VBAC! :-)
