So, a little while ago, MaryJo and I watched this HBO series, True Detective, which was the best television Ive seen in years. All yall Game of Thrones fanatics can chill, I read the books, Ill watch the series sooner or later. Games should take special note that True Detective is like a really horrifying Delta Green or Unknown Armies campaign. The performances are excellent, the representation of Louisiana is horrifyingly accurate, and the mystery is viewed through a bizarre quasi-mystical lens of moderinist horror. Great stuff, really.
