So a question for you guys :) Why are people so reluctant to give Photoshop Artists credits on photos but happily credit a Model MUA and even Wardrobe....... I see it all the time people never ever giving credit to me, and honestly am not complaining Im so dam used to it lol It doesnt bother me at all at end of day I would use the photos I like with credits in my portfolio (because I believe in credit where credit is due so If I know all the details I list them) But do you think Photoshop Wizards and Artists dont deserve the credit even if its their artwork that actually made the photo what it is Ive seen my fantasy work punished in magazines no credits and thats a tad frustrating with retouch Im not to fussed but when its something I know for a fact they couldnt have achieved without me it gets very disheartening Should we always be kept a secret, I get it some photographers dont want people to know there out sourcing their editing but is that really fair to take all the glory for something you played a percentage in not the entire whole .... I do a lot of projects that are to be kept secret and I dont mind when told in advance I am happy to play my hidden role as they are upfront and honest in the first place but should it be discussed more openly that an Editor is the norm and actually ridiculously common in this industry your thoughts?
