So about to try this ... Recipe for the Most Amazing Homemade Laundry Soap Ingredients 1 ( 4 lb 12 oz)Box of Borax 1 (3lb 7 oz) Box of Arm and Hammer Super Washing Soda 1 container of Oxyclean 4 (1 lb) boxes of Arm and Hammer Baking Soda (found in cooking aisle or you can grab a big bag at Costco.) 2 (14 oz) Bars of Zote soap (laundry aisle) 2 bottles of Purex Crystals Fabric Softner Directions 1. Grate the soap with a cheese grater 2. Mix all the ingredients in the bucket. ( I divided mine into fourths and layered it to make it easier to mix) 3. Use 2-4 Tablespoons per laundry load.
