So, after a half hour on the phone with Microsoft— a mix of on-hold and customer support folks who did not understand my issue, but could keep transferring me — my call was disconnected. When I called back, the recording said, We are sorry, but Microsoft telephone support is not available at this time. Please request support on the worldwide web. Proof that, at Microsoft, things have not changed in decades.
