So, after totally supporting my mother, and family, in general; for more than 20+ years - my mom tells me on her death bed (without explanation) that I have been deliberately misled to believe I have equal access or rights to manage her legacy... ...I am in such shock, I can only think to ask for an explanation; or to explain away any confusion that might have generated this wrongdoing.. But, alas, despite the total & utter disappointment this causes; the absolutely shattering effect it has on my entire maternal perception... the disfiguring emotional scars of abandonment & betrayal etched into my solar plexus.. despite myriad pleas to just make things equal for all that I have proven I have earned... Despite it all, my family has turned their backs on me, developed a convenient narrative; washed the blood off their hands, and left me to sob all alone with a broken spirit & memories I wish I could erase...
