So after years of experience playing in countless bands over the years, Ive finally made the decision to start my own band, Rising Deity (a metaphor to describe the birth of pure energy and the potential for boundless power), in which Ill be the bassist and the lead singer (you read that right lol) as well as an occasional saxophonist. Itll be progressive rock/metal, with elements of jazz, neo-soul and electronic music thrown in, youll have to hear it to believe it. :P Ive literally wanted to start this band since I was 19. Its not gonna be easy and it wont happen over night cause Ive never led my own band before and the music Ive written for it so far is gonna be hard to get others to learn, but I feel like Im finally ready enough and confident enough to try. Ive been trained well, and Im getting better every day I study and practice. Now to start planning.
