So all of my friends are now heading back to school and getting settled in. This is really hard for me as I miss my friends and coaches from Marian so much. But in order to chase my dreams of making the 2016 Rio Olympics, Ive decided to take a few online classes through Marian University so that I can travel internationally and fully commit myself to training and making that 3 man Olympic team. Just so people know, I was able to maintain a decent grade point average while still training and racing AA pro these last two years. To all the kids out there looking at school as an option, it can be done. You can do both if you set your mind to it. But at this point in my career, I want to put all of the marbles out there to give myself the best chance possible. I plan on going back to Marian and finishing out my degree in Business Marketing in the fall of 2016. I cant thank Marian University Cycling Team enough for all of the support. The entire University faculty and staff have been behind me and continue to support me throughout everything. The president, dean of students, head coach Dean Peterson, Ryan Birk and others have been more than supportive and helpful the last two years. I will most likely be looking for places in the Charlotte/ Rockhill area to train at the Novant Health BMX Supercross Track facility full time while still going to the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA many times a year, (thanks to James Herrera Jamie Staff and USA Cycling who have been great with supporting me), to train in the best training environments possible. Again, Im going to miss my friends so much this year. I wouldnt take back the last two years for anything. Thanks for being there for me and cant wait to see all of you guys in the near future. Also thanks to family, friends, and fans for all the love and support. I love BMX!!!!
