So allot of people have private messaged me on here asking my opinion, not that my opinion matters, on this whole #GarthBrooks saga at home in Ireland. Having spent almost $1500.00 to fly home to Ireland from Nashville to see one of my heroes LIVE in Croke Park of course I am saddened by it all and disappointed it came to this. First off I commend Garths decision and think he did the only FAIR thing for ALL who purchased tickets. Honestly it should NEVER have gotten this far ALL Licenses etc should have been acquired BEFORE promoting and selling these shows. If only 3 nights licenses were granted then 5 should not have been sold, lets face it wed all have been none the wiser..... Enough said. Again in my opinion I believe it was an honour to our Emerald Isle that Garth chose to launch his comeback World tour with us and it seems weve thrown that beautiful gesture back in his face which, to me, is sad. Lets face it he could have done it anywhere. Theres little good pointing fingers now so lets just hope Garth will one day return to Ireland to his adoring fans. To me, God works in mysterious ways... Due to the flight price I almost didnt book this trip but figured it was a once in a lifetime thing.... Have I any regrets... NO, Because Im going home to see my Family, my Friends, doing some shows with my Dad and attending a family Wedding so Im obviously excited to go home and in my eyes meant to be going home!!! #GodIsGood #CelticKountryHomecoming :-)
