So, almost all who know who I am recognize my disdain for possessions. Utilities aside and or necessities are my main priorities and or possessions that I would concede to, however even those I still consider to not be my own. As such I may be described as a Minimalist. My dad, of whom Im still glad and find it worthy to call him that, asked me a question a while back. First message from corresponding section, hey son you gotta give me some x-mas ideas for you been racking my brain trying to find a gift for someone who doesnt like worldly possesions lol I replied, Presence, and Making sure you are alive, Stuff like that. If you could make a short story or something creative, then Id really appreciate that. I find a lot of joy to see people not stagnate in the sense of mind. Love you This is what I got and other than the love and sensibility that I have managed to get over the years from all those in contact I would say that speaking emotionally about it that the following present was the best from my dad. He and I shared Merry Christmas, and then immediate radio silence. Slight curiosity at that part from me. However I got this message today. sorry I didnt get back to you yesterday but it was part of my gift to you, I racked my brain to find something worth while for you because you wanted an intellectual gift or rather something out of the parameters of the standard normal gift giving traditions so now that it is the next day here is what it was.....I avoided social and media constructs so that you my son were the only person on Christmas day that I said Merry Christmas to. I love you son. Now that hit home to me a bit. The sincerity of it and self control yet bursting emotion. Its the type of care that I wish and hope to reserve for all of life. And will gladly reply in kind to everyone. I hope you all managed a pleasant time and have respect for every moment in life. Love you all.
