So as Dennis has said in his post, most all waters off the Connecticut River have started to open up. Mostly the shorelines. Basically, the ice is no longer safe. It was a good season so its time to call it that. Not worth trying to get one last day in, because it could become that. Time to put the gear away and dust the poles off. Id like to thank Dennis Crowbait Thomson for allowing me to be a part of this page, it made the days I didnt get out better. Im glad everyone here had a fun, productive and most importantly, SAFE year on the ice. Thanks for all the info, tips, the awesome pictures, and to all the ones who brought a kid out thank you for helping keep this sport alive.
