So as I expected Ive been seeing a steady string in cop hating videos on Facebook... Now Im not saying bad police work shouldnt be exposed, mistakes in police work can only help improve training and cut down on corruption. HOWEVER, just like in the show cops. people are innocent until proven guilty, but as we all know-- some people are obviously guilty as the video has very well proven to us. So with that in mind, dont make assumptions about a video, especially when it doesnt start till halfway through a cop trying to get an assailant to comply with his instructions. Like I keep seeing these videos that are like innocent man subjected to search or innocent man forced to ground at gunpoint The video however starts after the subject is resisting a search, or after the guns have already been drawn... where is the 5 minutes before this we are missing? Did the guy try to sell the officer meth? Did he threaten the officers life with a gun? I completely support documenting interactions with police. every time Ive been pulled over as a designated driver or stopped at a checkpoint I have recorded my interaction with police. I may be sober, but I dont want to be taken advantage of because others in the vehicle are intoxicated. BUT dont automatically assume an officer isnt in the right just because the title of a video says someone is innocent, and dont make an assumption about all the men and women working in law enforcement because one officer is acting out of line. rant over, k thanks bye!
