So as Im cooking Im watching the nativity story which by my latest reading has been fairly accurate. (A few bits Im not too sure about but overall pretty good). Anywho. Im sitting here and maybe because Im so close to having a baby, but I cannot help but think of how scared Mary was. Shes give or take about 14 years old, she is pregnant. Ive thought about that a lot, I mean in 30 now and having a baby with a husband & house is a terrifying thing, I just cant imagine being in her situation. And We have all these modern luxuries. I fussed to Lamar when I was in labor with Caleb, that he hit every bump on the way to the hospital (literally 10mins away), could you imagine having to ride a freakin donkey hundreds if miles? And then you think youd get a break with your new bundle of joy and everyone and their papa wants to see your baby... On top of everything else, little reminders like that are amazing to me.
