So as the dust settles and the sun goes down over lydd go-kart - TopicsExpress

So as the dust settles and the sun goes down over lydd go-kart track I can finally take a breath and talk a wee bit about this weekend. GB supermoto is very much alive, and a class above anything iv ever experienced, so many talented, fast, committed and aggressive riders its really fantastic to be out there with them and still learn even more race craft. Young and old alike iv met done great racers this weekend and thank everyone for making me feel welcome. Without Lewis Cornish and Andy Mcliesh being with me the past few weeks across the continents I would not have been fighting for a win and podiums so cheers guys. Now to our team, Lewis is sponsored by myself and Bryan Rankin and is on the factory spec TMs, two bikes now to go on with, and from day one at Rednal practice I felt he was natural in the TM. He has said many times he feels good and is fired up for it! Lewis did not disappoint, as his sponsor I am delighted that he put in the effort he did, again all I can say is they are fast, believe me when I tell you what you seen of Lewis in Australia is not what this kids about. I cant ask for any more than our team to be leading the British championship after round 1. Now Andy mcliesh is on the bike Lewis rode in OZ and yes its got some things to do to make it work but Bryan and Dave Dave Cornish are going to work through this with him and I know he can get up there with them, but to be very honest to almost hit top 10 with the things he had to deal with was impressive. Two kids from different race crafts both hungry and Im excited to see the year progress. Unfortunately I cant compete all rounds, but if I can find a way I will do it. The Scottish Champion Scott Scott Murray and his motley crew were here and I think they showed their determination since they are all but one going home with broken bodies. Scott is fast, and impressive on the TM, and I know that broken or not those tough Scottish bastards will line up at Crail for the 1st round if Scottish in two weeks. And who would believe they have offered me their spare TM to race on, thats Scotland for you, just met the team and they offer that, cheers guys. Well done Lewis you made moves that prove your not looking for anything other than the championship, and with that attitude and our bikes its there pal so go for it. One last shout out to Matt Winstanley privilege to meet you mate, and watch you race, you are bloody clever and experienced and it shows. And a good laugh too, still think you should think about rugby mate haha, supermoto running man shoulder charges rider, theres a headline See you all at Wigan Grayso19
