So awesome: check out our brilliant, gorgeous, inspirational and uber-talented costume designer Bao Tranchi on a VTC10 NETVIET special, where clips of KEYE LUKE, CHINATOWN SQUAD, Dustin Tri Nguyens Once Upon A Time In Vietnam, The Prince and the Pagoda Boy (Vietnams official submission to the 2012 Oscars/Academy Awards), and Journey from the Fall are featured, all of which Bao did original costume design work for (which also involved a lot of excruciating, in-depth research). She has also done costume design work for Madonna, Britney Spears, Lenny Kravitz, Janet Jackson, Destinys Child, Brazilian rapper Marcelo, she is also the first Vietnamese designer to have designs featured at the largest museum in the U.S., The Smithsonian. Additionally, she has styled James McAvoy in an army costume for Entertainment Weekly as well as Bryce Dallas Howard for Flaunt magazine, and celebrities that regularly buy her fashion designs include Kristen Stewart, Naomi Watts, Jessica Alba, Kelly Clarkson and more. The video also covers her work as a judge on Americas Next Top Model Season 7 and for Vietnams Project Runway, Master Chef and Overtime. There are also English subtitles so if you cant see them (e.g., if you are viewing the video on your phone) make sure to maximize the video. The subtitles should be able to be viewed normally, however. Baos great story is also told through this 30 min special. Congrats again, Bao!
