So........ back a bit. Growing up in Coevorden, a small town in Drente, next to the German Border, all my uncles and aunties were born there. On one side there was the Greupink and the other side the Goselink families. School holidays menat staying with relatives most of the time. On your bike, by bus or train. I often biked to Emmen and stayed with my aunty Gre and my 2 cousins Marian and Evelyn.. My Aunty was my dads younger sister and there was one more younger than her Annie, she was a darling and always told me that dad looked after her. he was her here. On the other side there was the Goselink family who had moved over the years to other places. Only Albert Goselink was still in C City the rest was in Stadskanaal, Zwolle and Utrecht. One of my uncles there was Ome Kees. His sons Jan, Bert en Kees and daughter Jeanet. We were very close and I spend many many holidays there. It was my uncle and cousin Bert Bart Goselink who inspired me to join the police. Because of them and other uncle (Jan) I was somehow addicted to Utrecht (my first girlfriend-penpall was Sonja from Utrecht) and from a very young age I wanted to go there, work there and live there. My cousins and uncle introduced me to FC Utrecht and form a very young age this was my club in Dutch soccer; still is. First game ever, I was maybe 16 or so FC Utrecht-Ajax in the Old Galgewaard, Bunnik Side......... Ik was verliefd. We lost though......
