So back in the states(lol thats weird haha) I was on a little outing with a male friend(potential suitor, idk call it what you want lol) we were walking towards the door and I waited for him to open it, he chuckled as he reached to open the door but I guess it was surprising to him that I expected him to act like a gentleman.. Or maybe he expected me to act like anything but a lady? Idk what made me think of this but is chivalry really a thing of the past? And this has nothing to do with feminist progression( the "i can open my own door") and nothing to do with race.
