So dad died last night. They said the medicine just didnt have - TopicsExpress

So dad died last night. They said the medicine just didnt have enough time to take affect. Mom said it was still good that we got him to the hospital (obviously) cuz it helped the insurance to cover her financially but most importantly, when he passed, the whole family either got to call him or see him and tell him they loved him. He didnt die alone with hallucinations. He died with everyone loving him and around him. And thats more than a lot of ppl who die in accidents or something get. So i feel glad that he had that....and wish everyone did. I have thanked many ppl for their help but not nearly enough. In addition to the thanks to ppl who sent helpful comments in getting him to the hospital...I want to thank a few others for the wonderful things they have done in the last few days to help. Thanks to ALL of my children who helped Eric Branscum for staying in touch and calling us all and sharing your love. Thank you Faith King and Paige Leann King for going to the hospital and keeping an eye on dad and sharing your love. Thanks to Brian King and Hope King, I know ur still young and cldnt do as much as u wld have liked but thanks for being wonderful and loving and supportive as much as you could. Thanks to Christopher G Gray for being beside me and supporting me every step of the way. Uve been my rock! Thanks to all the law enforcement mentioned before. Thanks to Shawna Orr-Jackson for loving comments and stepping up now to help me and our family thru our grief. Thanks to Tonya Pendergraft Hill for helping me through my stress a few nights ago. Thanks to Abilene Gibbs, Angela Buck, Lu Ellen Francois and Holly Grizzle Cross for your supportive and caring comments during the hospital fight. And if I have forgotten anyone, I am truly sorry, my head is a little fuzzy like I was on meds, but Im not, lol....but not really laughing....just a lil confusion and grief. And never forget that this battle and grief is lightened and colored beautifully by allowing me to see JUST how many wonderful and amazing and caring and loving ppl there are in and around our family and who were born and raised here in Oklahoma (classmates, friends, etc.) Again, love u and thank u!
