So, day 2 in hospital...3 blood tests, X-ray, ultrasound and swabs later finally getting some answers. Turns out I caught glandular fever, which opened up the door to tonsillitis and a rather nasty virus called ITP ( Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura ) basically meaning my antibodies are destroying the platelets in my blood (platelets are the major player in making youre blood clot) to the extent where the average person has 150-400 platelets and yesterday I had a grand total of 1, sooo courses of steroids, antibiotics, sterile throat washes and close monitoring in hospital for a few days will hopefully get me back on track. All prayers and good wishes welcomed! As are visitors haha
