So, did you forget I had a doc apt on Wed? So did I ;-( but it worked out. They had time for me on Fri and Anita was available to drive me. I like it when someone who has survived cancer comes along; it buoys me up. I guess it was a more propitious time to have a chat and propose something new because Dr A was willing to listen and amenable to my idea/plan!!! So, since Im having slightly bloody nose issues, and the Alimta is making me so miserable the first week, were going to reduce the dose and spread out the appts. Ill be on a reduced dose of chemo every four weeks (instead of three) now until after my CT scan in Jan. After we take a look at the CT scan, Dr A may go for my plan to not do any chemo for six months and just keep an eye on things with quarterly CT scans. The deciding factor in that will be if there is again no change in the scan.
