So far this month Ive retired from the Air Force and started transitioning my family to a new home 10,000 miles away. During this time I had to move us from one hotel to another while a tropical storm was ragging outside. Execute a trip to the mainland so my wife could say goodbye to friends and family. Fly back to Okinawa, prepare us for this marathon series of flights we are about to embark on. Meanwhile another super typhoon is bearing down on the island, meaning Ill be getting wind whipped and soaked some more. On top of that, some family drama has come up adding to my already high stress level (and probably ulcer). Sigh.... I need a drink.
