So for everyone that hasnt heard yet, Im back in SC. I have to see a couple doctors this week and get some things taken care of. Everyone wants to know if Im excited to be home... well, I have pretty mixed up emotions about it all. Im happy to be home but I really miss Congo and all of my family there. The time I spent there made me even more passionate about missions/childrens ministry and birthed a new passion to see kids in Central Africa have better opportunities for education regardless of social status or religious affiliation. I have no doubt in my mind that Ill be back one day. Thanks to everyone that prayed for and supported me while I was there, and a HUGE thank you to Engage Mylife and Bill and Sonia Shaw in the Democratic Republic of the Congo for giving me this life changing opportunity!
