So, for many of you that know me well, know that though I am an open person, I do not discuss my issues. I know that I have them, I know what they are, but they are mine to have. In the past three years my life has changed drastically and all at once and simultaneously moved at a disjointed and sluggish pace to just what is natural. This post is as much about me as the people that have been in my life. You are severely naïve if you think the people you fight for do not define you albeit as much as you define them. I have learned some hard life lessons. I have made mistakes. I have lost people. I have gained new ones. I have made lasting relationships, and I have let go of ones that have been detrimental. As much as I pride myself on my own ability, how I pull myself out of the mire by my own bootstraps, I remember and am thankful for the people that gave me a hand, or a shoulder, a new pair of boots, who loved me when I wasnt sure if I could love myself. We might not be what we were or all that we will be, but know for a time, from the bottom of my soul, that I have loved you, and you have made me love myself. Youve made it easier for me to love others, and for that I will always be grateful.
