So glad to know you are reading my messages! Several called me on an error in last weeks notice when I said the record number of clients in 2 hours was 58. Wrong! It is 68! Yesterday was second place with 61 clients. On Monday and Wednesday combined, we helped 40 families with bags of groceries. Clients who have not needed help with food for over a year are now asking for that kind of help. In addition, we are helping about 10 homeless people a day with sack lunches and toiletries. With those numbers, you know we need continued help with donations of all kinds. There are a few grocery specials I would like to point out. Albertsons has cereal and granola bars for $1.58 for the first four. Great price! They also have canned chili, a favorite with the homeless men, for $1. Frys has a great digital coupon for Progresso soups: Buy 8 for $8. Another homeless favorite. Bashas has 88 cent Mix or Match: Food Club canned fruit. Another great price! They also have 24-count bottles of water for $2.50. Safeway has Caprisun beverages for $1.49. Using ad coupons, they offer Nature Valley granola bars for $1.79, Fiber One bars for $1.99, and Safeway peanut butter for $1.99. Thank you for your continued support of this ministry.
