So, gluteus here we go again, feet hip width width, I turn my back knee slightly out to protect my joints and allow me to go deeper and keep the length as to stretch the gluteus allowing as much blood to flow onto that region during the eccentric part of the movement (lengthening of muscle) and therefore increase contraction on the concentric (shortening) as you move up. I did a dropset on split squats or static lunges (however you want to call it) one leg at a time which was an absolute killer...the only thing is that once you finish one side you realise (and swear!) you got the other side to do hehe Please check the next video for the exercise execution, as this wasnt too clear)
