So grateful for the show tonight in Alabama. Although my voice was softer and gentler than it typically is, we still talked about interracial dating, gay marriage, violence against women, first loves, and the blessing of having a grandmother. The students at Auburn and the UPC that brought me were generous and full of love. Most important of all, my throat feels good. I did my vocal warm ups and cool downs and right now Im at my hotel feeling more hopeful than Ive been in a while.
