So happy about the revival of my Sovtek amp. I have always been a rather crunchy guitar player and having to use a clean sounding Fender amp definitely puts limits on what one can do. Being put in a position to have to play thru a clean amp will improve chops somewhat, but the loss of mojo is difficult to overcome, if not impossible. However, this amp is the cure for that. The Sovtek has mucho gain and a Hail Satan factor of +5. Sounds incredible even in a quarter stack arrangement. !00 watts of paint peeling, grindhouse bliss. Dirty boys have dirty toys...
