So, has any one watched Black a Jesus?? Has anyone called to voice their complaints?!? Quick observation (this is something I said at work today and something I heard said on the radio a moment ago) for YEARS Jesus has been portrayed as having blonde hair and blue eyes although we KNOW thats not true. Many will say why does it matter what color Jesus is? And you be right; it shouldnt matter. Heres the problem I have: if it doesnt matter, why is it that when you portray Him as the loving, kind, gentle man, hes white and now, ALL OF A SUDDEN, when He is portrayed as a curser, drinker, all around sinner its ok for Him to be black?!? Please dont misunderstand me; the show is horrible no matter what color the character Jesus is. I just think it takes it right over the top that NOW its ok for Him to be black! Christians are rising up about politics and other GARBAGE but not about this. Blacks rise up on all kinds of MESS but not about this!! Im confused people!!
