So have to share this: met a couple today, really sweet older couple eh round 50-55ish. The gentleman told me that they were here (in troy) for homecoming. First instinct to respond, oh u have grandkids attending huh?? They tell me no. Get this the gentleman who was determined disable 5 yrs ago just graduated last year!! Said he did it so his grandkids will see n attend college themselves!! Has a degree in criminal justice that he will never be able to use bc of his health but really wanted them to know how important it is to get a good education! Wow is all i could say, why arent more PARENTS this focused on setting the right image for our future generations??? Must say very very lovely couple, guess thats why i really enjoy my job it not only has helped ooen my eyes to who i am but i get to meet really great people from our community that truely inspire me to be a better person :)
