So here is a little secret I would like to share with you. I havent told anyone this before, and it is actually very difficult for me to admit... I cant sing very well! Oh I try. I love to get up there and belt something out. I am not afraid to make a complete ass of myself. I have come to grips with that. I am actually ok with it. Saturday at Deckers was no different. (I already mentioned three of the songs I did) I attempted my interpretation of Guns N Roses Patience, Queens Somebody To Love, Van Halens Beautiful Girls, Bon Jovis Wanted Dead Or Alive, Aerosmiths Dont Wanna Miss A Thing with Tasha and 4 Non Blondes Whats Up. I had my moments of course. I was particularly proud of Patience; but honestly, I really cant carry a tune! That being said... Two gentlemen came up. One, who sang the falsetto in this particular piece, announced he had never done karaoke before. The other attempted Bohemian Rhapsody earlier that night. They sang Total Eclipse of the Heart. I found myself in complete shock when they started singing, and was in that state for at least a minute. At which point I realized I had to video tape it. Sorry I didnt get it all, but you will get the gist. All I have to say is Karaoke is wonderful. Have fun with it. But dont be these guys! :)
