So here is something for all you pokemon fans out there. At work to day while me and a co worker were talki g about the new pokemon game, we ended up on pokmon the origin the new four part ova that tells the Canon story of the original pokemon games red and green. Anyway after awhile we got to talk about ash from the old anime vs red from this new anime and the games. It was that I put forth that ash is in fact reds dad, with I rew very good reasons to back this conclusion up. Apparently ash and red both lived in the same house in pallet town, that is if you consider the main character in pokemon yellow to be ash. Brock appears much older when he battles red then he did while traveling with ash. Misty wasnt the gym leader when she met ash, her sisters were, however when red battles her she is the gym leader. Ash encounters mewtwo as we all know in the first movies, red later encounters him as well and one could say well after the events of the movie. All in all I put way to much time into thinking this up but it seems like a valid theory as any.
