So heres my post for the night. I decided not to make pasta cause I have some of that sweet potato soup leftover (and Im being lazy lol) that I made and posted last night but I did make scones. Heres a good alternative for someone that doesnt eat flour and very little dairy. Ive posted pictures of the ingredients and the end result. They would look better with cheddar cheese and the chickpea flour is a bit darker but its organic and good for you. Hope you try them and if you do please let me know what you think. Chickpea scones 1 1/2 cups chickpea flour purchased from Healthyway 1/3 cup so good organic milk purchased from Walmart 4 tbls becel 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 teaspoon dill Pinch of salt 1 cup cheese of your liking. I used asiago cause we are cheese hounds and thats all we had in the house. Cut becel into margarine. add baking soda, salt, dill, and cheese. Mix. Lay out on a floured surface and roll. Cut into whatever sizes you want and place on a greased baking sheet. Cook at 375 for about ten minutes or until golden brown.
