So heres something you might not have known about me...I occasionally have prophetic dreams and when I do, I listen because theyre always 100% right and theyve never steered me wrong...well I usually have them about other people...After my plea for help, God must have read my post (Im not kidding here) because I had a dream and it was all about my health issues and what doctor I should see. So in the morning I called that doctor and begged to get in to see him that day. They had ONE opening. I took it! When the time came I was barely able to stand I was so weak...I told him my symptoms and he blurted out the same drug that he said in my dream! My jaw dropped and all I could say was, well why couldnt the best GI specialist at Yale figure that out?...youre amazing!!! He ordered more tests (the same ones I tried to get the ER to order but they refused after I refused a CT scan), one last visit to the ER to flush a kidney stone, rehydrate and there you have it....Day 2 and Im able to eat with minimal pain and no pain meds!!! Woooohooo!!!! Im also trying Gluten free for now, why not... Im learning to speak my mind, fire doctors when they fish for ideas, Im purposely keeping my Yale appointment to educate the so called best GI specialist because when you pay 8K a year for health insurance you have a right to open your mouth and demand to feel well because you are your best advocate and sometimes your only advocate.
