So heres the thing... My 2003 f650gs had an issue with the tail piece last summer and I had to drill a couple of holes and zip-tie it so it would stop bouncing around so much on rough roads. Heres the new thing... my brand new g650gs (with only 5500 km on it- granted there were a lot of bumps in those kms) had a bit of an issue today. The tail piece (plastic bit that holds my tail light and license plate) came off of bike while riding and was pulled into my back wheel. It caused my back wheel to lock up and couldve been pretty ugly had I been going more than 60-70km/hr. It would appear that the clips didnt hold? What gives?! Has anyone else had this problem?
