So here’s a few moments that I’d rather just forget, - TopicsExpress

So here’s a few moments that I’d rather just forget, nonetheless, they happened. My takeaways from the match. 1. It reminded me hate time-plus scoring! While I do not care for it, it’s part of the world I play in and I have to learn to manage things differently b/c it’s not going away and I just have to suck it up and accept it. 2. There’s a time & place for everything and you have to adapt. While I have resisted the Load-two and quad load methods in favor of weak hand loading, it’s time to get on board. I’m confident in my weak hand abilities for longer matches where seconds, or fractions of seconds, aren’t going to bury you¸ but that wasn’t the case here. So again, I need to hop on that train and use the methods available in matches like this where they have a distinct advantage. 3. Capacity. Hand-in-hand with #2, you can bet I’ll be heading over to The Shooter’s Source and ordering a +9 tube. Plain and simple, at this particular match I hampered myself only having a 9 round capacity in my tube. 4. Clearly I need to spend some more time practicing with slugs. My Slug game has been a roller coaster this year. At TFD3G I couldn’t miss with slugs, at the Benelli Championship I couldn’t hit a billboard with one and this match I was probably 70% on my slug hits. It’s definitely the indian, not the arrow for this problem.
