So hes got 5 years, I wasnt there and all I know is whats been shown to us in the media. One minute I think this is the OJ trial all over again, the next I have doubts. He doesnt deny he pulled the trigger, what Ive always been confused by is if he had meant to kill his girlfriend, its a bloody strange thing to shoot her through a door ... or is it ? Surely its very hit or miss, of course very tragically we know that it was hit in this case. 5 years if it was never his intention to murder her would seem perhaps right, if though he meant murder then it is of course no where near the correct amount of time. There has been much speculation as to how the case would have played out had it not been Oscar Pistorius, which to be frank is a rather futile question. The world over, those who have money and influence manipulate judicial systems - its tragic but true. Will we ever know the truth ... I dont think so. However what I do know is that tonight a lot of international journalists will finally get to head home to their families and quite a few satellite companies will be praying for an appeal.
