So, home safe, well sorta.. after leaving the Trout Hotel, just west of Havelock, stopped in Motueka and picked up the new car, an Isuzu Mu, only to find the zip on my back pack had broken, and only the spare helmet remained, bugger, new tee shirts, socks, all the crap I really needed,but no, just the usual somewhere on the road in the last 100 or so Kms.. off to the dairy co-op store and $450 ODD DOLLARS LATER, we are dressed again.. thought I had the first speed camera fines today, but, nup, just the usual crap, and toll road charges. so I managed to do up to 600 Kms in a day, not bad for an old guy won 3 meat raffles, $55 trifecta , fishing rod, and $50 odd dollars in lotto, and spent lots . . . still, was budgeted for I suppose. Back to working on the house, ceilings in kitchen and bathroom later this week , methinks...
