So honored to have met Major General Bernard Loeffke and have the opportunity to be part of the documentary he is making. When I tell people about my decision to study Chinese i usually get one of two responses - Why would you learn Chinese no one speaks Chinese its all about Spanish or thats smart because china is taking over. But why does it have to be like that? Why cant we join together to become an equal power in the world. It shouldnt be a thought pattern that SOMEONE has to rule and be the greatest when we can all benefit each other and unite as one. We might not agree with their beliefs or understand them but we dont have to! That doesnt make someone bad or lesser than us. And this doesnt just apply to different countries it applies to us in our daily life. This movie and General Loeffke has really inspired me to help the US and China have peace and unite as one.
