So in DC we have this thing called Slugging. Because of the High Occupancy Vehicle lanes you need 3 people to ride in your car to drive in these lanes. So people pick up Slugs so they can ride in these lanes. Its Free to the rider. While in the car u are pretty much mute. No talking on the phone, ringers off, minimal coughs and at the mercy to their music. LOL the funny thing is that the culture between Black drivers with black riders verse Other ethnicity drivers with mixed riders is very different. Got in an all black car and the conversation and laughing hasnt stopped. Im sure sometimes in an all white, Hispanic or Asian it would be the same. Still goes to show, we are still comfortable with our own.
