So, in the past week, things have been amazingly wonderful: My sister, Vera, is STILL in the hospital (day 47 and counting) and is missing her daughter terribly. The better of our two trucks was made inoperable by a bully mechanic, who then held our keys hostage until we paid him for killing it. The quote to repair it is the same amount I paid for it 5 years ago. The other truck cannot be driven in the rain (or shall I say shouldnt be driven in rain, Matthew :-/ ), so we had to give a black eye to the already compromised budget and rent vehicles to get to Chicago for the past two weekends. While in Chicago, I pulled out some cash to sow into the life of an amazing woman with whom I had the pleasure of bonding over the past couple of weeks (one of many new sisters gifted to me :-D ), and it came up missing before I could leave it for her (I know it was not stolen, and I NEVER lose money... hmmm). Speaking of things coming up missing, Matts video camera inexplicably vanished on a day when Conclave Download ministered to some folks who dont yet know the Lord (also NOT stolen.... hmmmmm). I promised to see my love, Jennifer and couldnt make it from the south side through traffic before she had to leave for work. Theres more, but I will not bore you.... what is AMAZING is that the enemy is just all up in arms for lots of reasons, the first of which is because God continues to heal my sister, and has saved her life SEVERAL times, not only over the years but over the past few weeks. When he is up in arms, God is up to more than usual on your behalf. He even sent a message to tell her, from someone whod been in there working, that her hospital room is completely packed with angels guarding her (for those of you who are unaware of angels of the Lord and their presence/existence/work on our behalves, please dont be spooked-- just keep reading :-) ). My niece is in a class of only 17 children (instead of 35, shout out to our CPS roots
