So, it would appear that the regime is sending boots on the ground (troopers of the Big Red One out of Fr. Riley, KS) to the Syria-Iraq region. And, a decision was made, even before their scheduled Oct. 8 deployment, to deny them certain medals because, supposedly, they would not be in a combat situation. It appears to me that any square foot of those countries is an actual or highly potential combat area. This is beyond comprehension. Several hundred of the soldiers being deployed to fight ISIS are from the 1st Infantry Division at Fort Riley Kansas, who Huelskamp’s office says are going to be deployed to the Iraq-Syria region after the Casing Ceremony on Oct. 8.... breitbart/Big-Government/2014/10/03/Obama-Admin-Reverses-Decision-To-Withhold-Medals-To-Soldiers-Fighting-ISIS-Under-Pressure
