So its no secret I post some absolutely ridiculous things at times. (and just for the record, I do hold some aspects of my life in an extremely personal manner and close to the heart.) The stuff you see are things I really dont care about, whether its something that will be used to judge me or not, whether it makes me look bad or not. Im not a kid trying to fit in anymore. Having said this, I received a private message a few days ago from someone I will keep anonymous. Ive omitted some parts to keep it as private for them as possible, but this was the jist of that message and the more I have thought about it, the more I have wanted to share it. Mostly because it was somewhat of a reality check for ME! For who I am and who I am working towards becoming. It is critical for me to remind myself daily I that I have to work on myself and there are others who will read this that have been to a very dark place in life and know exactly what I mean by daily! He struggles he has spent quite a bit of time in the system. So when I see you post stuff of your past it gives me hope. Especially stuff about your mom and how she was your biggest supporter yet u recognize how it was not the way she raised you. I hope that made sense. I carrying some guilt even though I know I did my best. I do believe one day he will feel the same way as you. I Believe god gives us any opportunity to share our experiences in life to help others and ourselves. Thats what it is all about to me. So dont think your works go unnoticed. People need to hear our stories. So thanks. So you see, if posting some parts of my life that while I am not very proud of them, I am no longer ashamed of them either, make you stop and say what was he thinking posting THAT! Doesnt he realize how that makes him look?...What I was thinking is, I dont really care how it makes me look...if it helps someone else find just a little more strength, a little more hope and a little more faith. Save the likes. This isnt for an attaboy. I l took something positive away from someone who took something positive away from me. So if you want to leave a comment, just post something you think I can learn from or someone else just browsing through can read and use. A quote or saying. A picture. Some words of wisdom. I dont care if its as ridiculous as make sure your junk is secure before zipping up. We can all use a laugh, especially if its educational and believe me folks, Im no f*cking genius. I can use all the knowledge you guys have to offer!
