So its official Ben Affleck is the new batman for the next man of steel movie. My whole take on people lashing out at warner Brothers for this is so: take a chill pill. Its not your call to make these descisions and im pulling the heath ledger card. Give the guy a chance: if we gave ledger the chance to play such an iconic role when about 70% of the public were skeptical about Ledger on his take as the joker before all were mesmerized by the anarchaic street punk version of the joker we know that existed in comics in the early 40s, ben deserves the same chance to show we dont need a hero who constantly has a hoarse throat (nothing bad against bale but people did the same thing with bane even in dark knight rises). Stop judging an actor for roles he did 10 years ago. Its not 10 years ago! Its 2013 not 2003.
