So, just an update.....The pin in my neck is not broken as originally thought but is bent. We are going to try some steroid shots and a new medication for nerve endings used for diabetics called Neurontin. The jury is still out on the mass in my neck. They originally thought thyroid tissue was growing back but now they are saying probably not just a big, dense mass but they tested several things that would prove or disprove this and also an ultrasound. Will have some more info in about 5-7 days when the results from all the tests are back.......thanks to everyone for thinking about me. Dont know how ready I am to go round 3 with that ugly thing called cancer:0(
