So last night, or early this morning, I woke up with this really good idea for a scene. It was around 2am and I didnt feel like getting up. I lay there for a few more minutes trying to convince myself that Id remember the scene in the morning so it was okay to go back to sleep. Then I remembered that my memory is not as good as it used to be so I figured Id better write it down now. But I was still tired. So I debated some more until it was almost 2:40. Then I figured since I was still awake I should just go ahead and get it written. Still tired so I didnt bother with the laptop, or going to get the flash drive from my purse where Id left it. Turned on the light and there was a notepad on my nightstand and a million pens for whatever reason. Wrote the scene and was glad because when I woke up again at 545am didnt remember a thing Id written. LOL Co-worker just walked by my desk and saw all the notepad sheets. She picked it up and began reading--only because shes one of the few I allow to touch stuff on my desk, plus she knows Ive been residing in #revisionworld. Anyway, shes reading and I hear her gasping as she goes from one page to another. Then she pulls up her shirtsleeve to show me she has goosebumps from the scene. Yay, my job is done. :)
