So last week I called a plumber to the house to fix two leaking/dripping outside faucets. He came Saturday to survey the situation. Said he would be back Monday to replace the faucets. When he gets here today, he makes a suggestion- if I wanted to try it- to check the washers inside the faucets. So he takes one apart and finds the washer had harden and thus not letting it seal. The front one leaked while it was on. He just tighten a nut on that one. Bam! Problems fixed. I was looking at paying nearly $100 for the original estimate, which I was fine with, but with the simply fixes he did, he was going to charge $10!!!! I was going to give him $20 just for the effort and travel and such. I didnt have any cash and was going to write him a check for $20 and he said he wasnt worried about!! I tried so hard to pay this guy and he said he wouldnt hear of it. He said just call me next time I needed some plumbing help!!!!!! What a great experience. Still some great people out there!!!
