So lately I have been seeing a lot of different issues posted on FB and it seems that no matter what someone does or says there are always those that want to make an argument out of it or a competition. There have been some pretty devastating issues lately in the media but there are those that are concerned because one gets more attention than another issue. It is not a competition. There also seems to be a bit of controversy regarding fundraising for charities.There are many worthwhile charities to contribute to. We all have had different situations touch our lives whether it be illness, child abuse,animal abuse ,natural disasters, etc. but these things are all worthwhile. I suggest you research the organizations and check out their 501-c standing and make the decision best for you based on education, facts,your heart and your passion. It should not be a competition.We all have our passions,our causes, our dreams and desires but none should be a competition.I have found one of the most satisfying things I can do is to help my friends in need directly. Many state or national charities have a huge overhead that donations go to and w/o researching you might not realize that. I dont know many of us that dont have friends that are ill or in need. What a wonderful act of kindness to make a meal, send a card or money,take a friend to a doctors appt. or procedure, clean their house, wash their clothes,shop for then or help with their children or pets. If you have issues with fundraising or charitable organizations you can always help by doing something directly for the person or animal in need . Every organization needs help so please choose the one or ones that you wish to help but please never make it a competition !!!
