So let me tell you how my day went. ...... I wont say any names, but a dog was ran over in front of my shop several months ago and I felt horrible for the little guy, so I took him to a NEARBY animal care center to have him checked out. Informed them as the dog wasnt mine but felt like I was doing the right thing, they informed me that we will check him out and observe him over night. Get a call in the morning that he made it through, everything looked good, they stitched him up and I owe 250. Ummmmm say what?? So after the dog stayed there a few days, they returned him to us and said Have a nice day and I figured that he wiped the bill. Fast forward to today, our Pitbull Trigger gets hit by a car and the driver brought him to this NEARBY vet, I get word of this and go to check on him, where I was greeted with a We refuse to treat this animal until your unpaid balance is satisfied !!! What?? You are using my dog as leverage to get a bill paid on an animal that isnt mine? Words verbatim no good deed goes unpunished Somebody almost lost teeth right there!! So I say I will pay the bill on the other dog, if the guy who brought in my dog pays his bill, seems fair to me?? Same difference right, we both brought in random struck dogs!! I was told they couldnt do that as it was wrong! ! More missing teeth should have been flying at this comment! ! Cops were called on me and I took my Property and went elsewhere! What happened to care and compassion over a dollar? ? Isnt that what a vet does? ? Guess not. Shame on you and your crew, NEARBY vet/thief!!!
